How to take care of your battery ?

Inmotion France gives you some advice for the perfect use of your batteries. All our products are delivered with latest generation Lithium-Ion batteries.
For good use and a long lifespan, here are some tips to follow :

  • Do not put your machine in a damp place
  • Do not expose it to extreme temperatures (below 0°C and above 50°C)
  • Do not immerse your product in water
  • Do not disassemble your battery
  • Do not leave it on charge longer than indicated in the user manual
  • Do not short circuit your battery
  • Do not recharge it with a charger other than the one supplied with your machine. Not even with another of the same brand (the charger is designed only for your type of battery)
  • Don't charge your battery to 100prc every time. Remember to do a minimum full charge every 3 months.
  • Do not wait for the end of the battery to charge your product.
  • After using your product, allow the battery to cool down before charging it.
  • Do not leave your machine in your car trunk.
  • Do not leave your machine in the rain.

In the event of wintering or prolonged non-use, be sure to store your machine in a dry place and sheltered from temperature fluctuations.
Clean your machine well. Remove all traces of dust, humidity, earth or other.
Be sure to recharge it once every 3 months. Be sure to check all functions before.

How to take care of your machine ?

For good use and a long lifespan, here are some tips to follow :

  • Do not put your product in water
  • Do not wash it with plenty of water or with a high pressure cleaner Use non-abrasive soapy water on a damp cloth and pat dry as soon as possible.
  • Before cleaning it, make sure your device is turned off and unplugged. That the protective cap of the charging port is in place to ensure water resistance. Do not put water on the charging port.
  • Check the general condition before using the product.
  • Check that all exterior hardware is properly tightened.
  • Check that the charging port protection is in place.
  • Do not cross an obstacle.
  • Do not ride several people on the product.
  • Do not jump or perform acrobatics with your product.
  • Do not go down a curb at high speed while on the product.
  • Do not take your product apart. For any questions, contact the after-sales service of your dealer.

If you do not use your product for a long time: fully recharge your product at least once every 3 months and turn it on at least once a month.
Make it work a bit. This will lengthen its lifespan considerably.

It is your responsibility to check that your product is working properly before each use. Regular inspection of security organs is necessary.

Note on the indicated range and speed

The product parameters are given for information only. The value indicated for the speed as well as for the range are acquired on a full load with a person weighing 70 kg, on level roads and a temperature of 25°C.
There are several factors to take into account when using these products. Among the most important: the rolling surface and the gradient, the user s weight, the tire pressure and battery charge, the driving style and natural conditions (temperature, humidity, wind, etc.). All of these factors affect the maximum speed and distance of the product. Therefore, each user will have their own results. Test yours.

Instructions for use

  • Before first use, read the instructions carefully and fully charge the product battery
  • Store the product in a dry place between +5°C and +35°C
  • Be sure to recharge it once every 3 months.
  • Check the tightness of the various screws and shock absorbers before using the product.
  • The maximum weight of a person who can use the product is indicated on the instructions for use.
  • It is not recommended to use the products on slopes that are too steep and too long, otherwise they will get to safety by cutting themselves

Safety instructions

  • The products are prohibited for minors
  • Beginners should be accompanied for assistance during the period of getting started with the product.
  • It is forbidden to drive on public roads. It is your responsibility to find out about local legislation
  • Wearing helmets is compulsory.
  • Wearing protections is strongly recommended.
  • Do not ride over the edge of a cliff or body of water.
  • The use of the telephone or smartphone is prohibited while using the product
  • Do not use in the following cases: pregnant woman, being alcoholic, having heart disease, having balance disorders.

Insurance

In accordance with the legislation, we remind you that civil liability insurance is compulsory.
Contact your insurer to declare the use of your product. Some insurance companies even offer a specific contract for new electric mobility devices.

Firmware update

How to update the Firmware ?

Make sure you have the latest version of the Inmotion Bluetooth app (7.0.7 for IOS and 7.0.4 for Android).
Connect the unicycle to the mains, turn it on and position the unicycle in parking mode (see photo). To do this, press the engine cut-out button, tilt the unicycle backwards, the headlight upwards, then release the engine cut-out button.
Connect via Bluetooth to your unicycle. In the "Vehicle" tab, click on the small cogwheel at the top right "Features". At the bottom of this page, click on "Upgrade FM" to update your Firmware.

If the Led moods start flashing red after the upgrade, don't panic! It just means that you need to calibrate your unicycle.
Please follow the this procedure :

Calibration: the "SCV correction"

Make sure you have the latest version of the Inmotion Bluetooth app and have done the latest firmware update.
Connect the wheel to the mains, turn it on and position the wheel in parking mode (see photo). To do this, press the engine cut-out button, tilt the wheel backwards up to the headlight stop upwards, then release the engine cut-out button.
Connect via Bluetooth to your unicycle. In the "Vehicle" tab, click on the small cogwheel at the top right "Features". At the bottom of this page, click on "SCV correction" then on "Car body turning and fowarding correction"
